In 2006 We (Page and Yoko ) moved in this farm and named it "Princess Radha Farm" after our cat "Radha." Princess Radha is also Hindu's Goodies and symbol of Love and Harvest. We thought the name was perfect for our farm.
In 2011, we decided to have a new company name to expand our coffee business. We chose "Hawaii 100% Kona Coffee Company" because we want to people know why we need to stress 100%.
We wanted to people know the difference of 'Kona Coffee" and "100% Kona Coffee". If you see label of a package closely, you find the small letter 30% Kona coffee or 10% Kona Coffee. How do you taste the Kona Coffee when it has 90% foreign coffee in it.
Our 7 acres farm, We pick only ripped red cherries, sun dry, and roast once or twice a week.
You could tell the difference of the freshness of roast and quality of coffee beans.
We proud of our coffee.
Our farm is one of the first family Kona Coffee farms that started in 1800s. Most our coffee trees are more than 120 years old. Many flute trees make the shadow and prevent from strong wind. You might be surprised how coffee trees are growing on lava flowed rocky hills.
Come and taste our coffee and many different kind of flute that ripped on the trees.
